You will start to see results 2-3 days after your treatment.
Following the treatment (see the “does this hurt” section for during treatment details) you may experience heat and redness in the skin which generally calms down within a few hours.
The following day the skin may be a little pink and will start to become rough like sandpaper. This is the old skin hardening before it starts to come off.
As the old skin or sandpaper-like sensation starts to fade it will reveal tighter, younger refreshed looking skin.
We recommend waiting 48 hours before commencing any intense cardio exercise.
There are all different types of wrinkles and different treatments target different wrinkles. The benefits of this combination is that it will tighten the skin, reducing some wrinkles and removing others. It ultimately depends on the individual. If this is your main area of concern be sure to mention it to Dr. Kiren so he may address your needs accordingly.
The PRP Injections involve taking a small amount of your blood, so there is a tiny pinch of a needle with this.
We use a topical anaesthetic for the CO2 Laser Resurfacing which minimises any pain. Most people experience feeling the heat of the laser on their skin. We offer cool packs to reduce this sensation for anyone who needs it.
For laser resurfacing, this is quite a gentle treatment.
